If I were to tell you that the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL is the Carolina Panthers then you would laugh at my face.
I would then wipe the disgusting spit you threw on my face, and tell you that it is true. The Panthers are undefeated. They have Cam Newton who is a front runner for MVP this year.
The Panthers will face the struggling New York Giants. The Giants are 6-7 in the NFC East. They are led by quarterback Eli Manning. Manning has thrown 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Carolina has one of the top defenses this season. They are also punishing quarterbacks.
I just want to see Newton hit the “dab” a few times. The chances of that are likely since New York’s defense is ranked dead last in the league, and a Carolina offense that is ranked eleventh with 31.5 points a game.
Giants offense is 12th in the league with 26.5 points in a game at. That’s not too shabby.
So this means this turns to a defensive game. Which is in Carolina’s favor. They have the third best defense in the NFL.
The Giants do have Odell Beckham Jr. and his crazy catches and that brilliant speed.
With all this in mind. I see the Panthers staying undefeated Sunday. Cam Newton and that offense are firing on every single cylinder. Like a fine 1969 Dodge Dart Hemi. No surprise to what else you will read around.
In Carolina you have good offense, and a better defense. They will also have tight end Greg Olsen coming back from injury this week. With Newton playing like a MVP this season;its a good mix for a Super Bowl bound team.
